Montenegro

Montenegro wil be the next big thing in Europe if our visit is anything to go by. Some stunning scenery even at this time of year. It looks like it is mostly set up for summer, and Germans, but I think once the word gets out the rest of Europe and the world will be there soon. All it will take is a cruise ship to visit and it will become as popular as Dubrovnik. The people are really frienldy and willing to chat to anybody. They have some nice old town cities and fortresses and as I said the scenery is its main drawcard. It wasnt as cheap as we expected but that is probably due to it using the Euro. Any country that has adopted the Euro has gone from dirt cheap to reasonable overnight, which is quite a big jump. We stayed in a locals house, with an old fishing boat captain who rents out his rooms. As soon as he arrived, he had us drinking his home made alcohol and we were having a chat. A very friendly guy and typical of old sailors, with lots to say and lots of opinions. They must have a lot of time to think out at sea. I think I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. If you think you would like to go to Montenegro, get there soon because it wont be like this for long I think.
